Hurricanes in the Pacific

Written by Robert Rhodes on Monday, September 19, 2005 in: Main |

Much is in the news about Hurricane Rita. Much has been in the news about Hurricane Katrina.

Outside of local news, I haven’t seen boo about no less than 3 storms in the Pacific that has the attention of the Aloha State: Hawaii.

Jova, Kenneth, Lidia, Max… has anyone heard about these? Just curious.

Think I’ll see about adding their RSS streams to my blog’s right sidebar, until they’re gone. If nothing else, it’ll be easy to find info on them for me, since it just means checking my blog.

  • Of course I’ve heard of Kenneth, but who are the other 3?

  • Well, obviously, they’re just like Kenneth:

Large individuals with lots of hot air that makes them run. (And then makes them rain.)

  • That description sounds a lot like another storm I’ve heard of – the Robert (aka Big Gumby).

  • Is there a radar site that shows the current weather for the islands?
A site I can down load easily so we can check and see if you have blown
    away yet. :-)

  • Try here: http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/.

They have some nice info such as tracking of the storms, and satellite photos.
