Saddam Not Present at Trial Session
Wednesday, February 01, 2006BAGHDAD, Iraq — Saddam Hussein and four other defendants refused to attend their trial Wednesday, and their defense attorneys boycotted the proceedings, demanding the removal of the chief judge they claim is biased against the former Iraqi leader.
The last time I mentioned this cheeseball’s antics in court, I said plainly that it might be a good idea if the judge started taking control of the courtroom.
Well, the powers that be took care of that by replacing the judge.
I guess nothing says miffed like a judge that takes control over you, and you used to be dictator Saddam Hussein.
Y’know, here’s an idea: Drag Saddam’s sorry ass into court, and set him down. Give him a lawyer. Don’t. Doesn’t matter. Take control. Let Saddam know he does NOT have control anymore.
If Saddam doesn’t like that, then suggest this solution to him and see if he likes it better: Tie him in a chair, his hands behind his back, and set the chair in the middle of Baghdad. Hand out free baseball bats. Pinata, baby!
Am I suggesting that physical harm be placed upon a evil dictator that murdered his own people? No. Of Course Not.
