Well I'm all for "legal" immigration. I like the talk on other sites saying "well you're ancestors were illegal ....". Yes, immigrants to the mainland were illegal, but at that time, there wasn't a law that banned them from coming. In fact, immigration was welcome as it not only grew the country, but it also provided diversity.
"We" don't owe any race anything. Blacks in the 60's had every right to be treated equal. But "we" don't owe anything to blacks, since many generations ago American idiots decided to enslave another continent's people for work. Here and now they have a better life, but they're not owed anything.
Illegal immigrants are just that - illegal. They pay no taxes, have no social security number, but you better believe that if they need medical assistance, Parkland (local hospital for those non-Dallas folks) will be willing to provide free work, while us "legal" people not only pay tons of cash to have insurance, we then get treated like 2nd class citizens. There's a double standard for people who follow the rules and those who don't.
Now where is the march for us "legal" folks who believe in this country, who pay taxes, and who feel like we don't get our fair shake?
Some stats from Dallas' march (with my comments below):
1. 350,000 to 500,000: (estimated) Participants -
Lots o people, so glad I didn't go downtown.
2. 50,000: (estimated) Paletas (frozen fruit bars) sold -
Yes, the American spirit is alive and well in Dallas.
3. 750: Police and sheriff's deputies working the march -
Wonder who paid for this? Oh, that's right - us "legal" people who pay taxes!
4. 10 Girls Gone Wild video crew members at the march -
Uh, don't know how to respond to this
5. 7 Ambulances assigned -
Again, who paid extra for this?
6. 2 People hospitalized for medical issues -
I believe us "legal" people paid for this.
7. 1 Iranian flag observed -
No comment.

Now with all this being said, "legal" immigration (with limits to avoid overcrowding) is fine, "illegal" immigration is a crime and shouldn't be tolerated. Hey, do those folks in China still use that wall? We may need it here.
