Racist Group Grabs Immigration Opportunity
Alright, look people.
Read every word carefully.
Illegal immigration is a problem that must be addressed. It isn’t a Mexican issue. It isn’t an Italian issue. It isn’t about any particular group. It’s about ILLEGAL immigrants.
Truth be told, I think most legal and illegal immigrants get it. But the temptation for the ILLEGALS to take advantage of the USA is just too great for some groups.
Here’s one now:
Mexica Movement.
For the record, I’m about to say bad things about this group. Like, for instance, they’re nuts. According to what I can tell on their site, I’m either with them, or racist. (I was going to call them a moonbat group.. but I don’t want to insult genuine moonbats out there.)
Why is it that racist sites/people/groups always blame or use the race card on someone else, but never themselves? Are they so blind by racism that they can’t see that they are the perpetrators? Anyway…
If you visited their site, you would be presented with the following imagery:
People volunteered to help carry our signs.
Mothers of members and supporters came out to march with our people. This was not a march of “undocumented” as has been portrayed in the media. Mexica Movement was there and the majority of our membership has been born in the “U.S.”.
Not enough to convince you? Try this little paragraph taken from their page full of tripe:
Like we said, there are a lot of good white people out there, but there are also the loud, violent, and low I.Q. Racist White Supremacists who would easily put us in concentration camps and ovens if they felt they could get away with it. Some have already written to us to tell us that they have concentration camps and hot ovens waiting for us.
Implying that their plight compares to a holocaust of their own makes me sick. This group is just using the bad situation that America needs to fix to further their own racist agenda. They’re painting themselves as supportors of the ILLEGAL immigrant situation, when they’re really just a nutwing group spouting their own idea of history, current events, and racism.
You can paint a skunk white and call it a French Poodle, but it still stinks like a skunk.
The bottom of their main page spouts off several lines of text. These lines of text are designed to make their site “search engine happy.” They use and abuse the word “aztec” so many times it’s just fall down funny.
What isn’t funny is one of the paragraphs of broken English phrases [designed for search engines in this fashion on purpose] at the bottom of their main page that reads “Don’t accept the illegal latino gangs of Europe, black latino, el latino, because barrio latino, is not latino organizations. False latino pride, their latino news is phony…” So now only certain Latinos and Hispanics are considered part of their group?
This group is misguided, and their message is sickening. I hope that American citizens and immigrants - legal and illegal - see them for who they are.
I also feel for Velocity Networks (www.vel.net), that have to put up with this crazy group’s website on their system.
For a group that can’t yell loud enough that the United States isn’t really legal, they have no problem using an American company to run their website, which asks for American dollar donations… all this while hiding behind the American freedom of speech.
If they want some donations, perhaps they should join the other groups out there that are fighting against American oppression? Like maybe, Fidel Castro or Hugo Chavez.
Maybe they can get Jane Fonda to be their spokesperson.
