Guilty as charged. I spent the first 20 years [or so] on this planet as a particularly large fan of Star Trek. Met several of the actors. Did the conventions. That kind of thing.
But, no, I never wore any Spock ears or Klingon garb to the conventions. I did, however, wear a replica captain’s shirt from the series, and another year – with full beard – went as “Riker.”

The shirts are now all in storage. The beard a distant memory.

Then there was the Doctor Who conventions…
