Left Wing Claims They’re All Wet

So, Lieberman lost. That means that the far left wing wackos won the day.

Without checking the news today [yet], I predict that the Democratic Left Wing Moonbats will claim this to be a watershed moment. Because Lamont won, that means that the entire country has given up on the war, our troops, the President, and blames the United States for every problem that exists in every other country.

Should be an interesting day or two in the news. Watch for the MSM to bring up phrases like “Lieberman defeat” more often than “Lamont win.”

  • The libs can gloat all they want, but this was only a PRIMARY! In light of the thwarted terrorist attack in the US and UK, Lieberman may win the state as an Independent. If not, he’s too good for the state anyway and it will get what it deserves.

Let’s also remember that Lieberman was a Democrat until just last week. He’s still for abortion and other liberal causes. I can’t embrace him, although I respect greatly his honesty.

  • As the conservative grapevine says… Lieberman is one of the last – if not the last – of the Kennedy Democrats.

All that is left of the Democratic party now is the left wing moonbat wackos. Their attitude about Iraq and the war against the terrorists – pulling out of Iraq, and making nicey-nice with the terrorists by talking out our problems because, hey, why can’t we just get along, while sitting by a campfire, holding hands and singing Kum Ba Yah – that attitude… is going to lose America battles and wars not yet fought on foreign grounds, and bring those battles right here on American soil. The kind of Clinton-ism mistakes that brought about 9/11.

If the stakes weren’t so high, I’d be interested in letting the Dems win in ‘06. Give them back the power they want so badly. Let them apologize to the terrorists, pull out of Iraq, and then just see how long it takes before another high mortality rate terrorism attack takes place.

Only in that other reality, people die. Lots of people. And I’ve had my fill of that from 9/11, thank yew very much.

In THIS world, the world of reality that the rest of us live in, there is a war being fought. And we bloody well better win it, or the very least recognize it for what it is, and fight the good fight, because to turn our backs on it is to ignore all that we were taught as a nation, on a single day, back in 2001.
