The AP reports:

TEHRAN, Iran – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad defused a growing confrontation with Britain, announcing the surprise release of 15 captive British sailors Wednesday and then gleefully accepting the crew’s thanks and handshakes in what he called an Easter gift.

Am I the only one that is looking at this in disbelief? Do you honestly believe that ol’ buddy-buddy Mahmoud believes in the spirit of Easter? Or the meaning? He’s just happy because he’s now figured out that he can push Britain around and get away with it.
