It seems to me very likely that these pirates are probably “terrorists in training.” Yes, pirating has been going on for a long time in Somali waters, no doubt. But I suspect it wouldn’t be a far stretch to see a group of terrorists attempt to take over an oil tanker, with evil intentions of making lots of Americans dead. Not to mention creating a mess of fires, and fear of shipping oil to the USA. Price of oil would shoot up. Financial industry would like take a serious hit. It would be, in short, a mess.

And while it may be considered an unlikely possibility… so was flying planes into a building.

Unless you believe what Edwards has been saying, about the war on terror just being a bumper sticker for the Bush administration. What an idiot.

You know, it’s been over five years since 9/11. You would think that the Dems and their base, the far-left wackos, would admit that we – the United States – have enemies that want to kill us by any means possible.

Their lack of that belief… and lack of security as a result… would certainly result in deadly consequences if they are put in charge of the White House in ‘08.

And while I blame the Dems and liberals for not seeing the big picture, most of the current bunch of Republicans – including President Bush – ignoring the demands of the people of this country to secure the border… that could be the thing that gives the Democrats the power they want. Even though the Dems are also for open borders.

What we need is a solid conservative to get behind, and I’m not seeing anyone in the list of Republican candidates right now that gets me excited.

Now if Fred Thompson gets into the race… that could very well change for me. We’ll see.
